Abstract

The article contains information about practical organizational and psychological research. It has an interdisciplinary systemic basis, is conducted for more than 2 years, and empirical data is collected according to the developed methodology for evaluating the humanitarian component of the organization. The methodology has 30 assessment criteria and this makes it possible to systematically investigate the functioning of 3 mechanisms and 10 components of the organization from a humanitarian perspective. Mathematical processing of the statistical database for 208 Ukrainian organizations was carried out according to the specified methodology for management and leadership. These phenomena are used as components in the methodology. Correlation analysis according to Kendall’s non-parametric paired test was applied. The presence of a very large number of insignificant correlation indicators was established. Because of this, attention was focused and information was summarized on those points where there was no correlation. This approach was justified by the fact that in the organization as a systemic phenomenon there should be connections between its components. The lack of connections is a sign of a problem with the functioning of the system as a whole. It was established that leadership as a synergistic property of a social group is not sufficiently implemented in the processes of human resource management and organizational development. However, leadership, with the exception of participation in conflicts, affects the achievement of the synergy effect in the organization. Problems of achieving the effect of synergy through values, traditions and image are highlighted by management. At the same time, there is a bigger problem in the management of the development of the organization. The developed methodology for evaluating the humanitarian component of the organization according to 30 criteria once again confirmed the possibility of its application in practice. It can be improved or supplemented, but the idea of application is real for practical use and the transition of science to the practical side of development.
