ACADEMIC DISCIPLINE «PSYCHOLOGY OF COMMUNICATION» IN THE SYSTEM OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE PRESCHOOL EDUCATION WORKERS

The article presents an analysis of theoretical and methodological aspects of teaching the academic discipline ‘Psychology of Communication’. The role of the academic discipline in the system of professional training of students obtaining a bachelor's degree in specialty 012 Preschool education is determined. The necessity of future preschool workers’ possessing communicative competences is substantiated. It is emphasized that pedagogical communication requires special training of the teacher, possessing communicative competencies will help to establish relationships with children, their parents, colleagues. Communication skills help to understand interlocutors, regulate relationships with other people, effectively interact with them. The goals of studying the academic discipline are highlighted, including approaching the understanding of the professional necessity to study the psychological characteristics of communication; forming the ability to recognize and correctly assess the most common socio-psychological situations in professional activity; developing the ability to analyze specific situations, distinguish the types of interlocutors, discuss various problems, taking into account the psychological characteristics of professional situations. It is emphasized that art practices are psychological and pedagogical tools, enabling students to form a positive motivation for mastering communicative competencies successfully. The description of art practices, allowing to relieve tension, model a positive psychic and emotional state, discover the reasons that change the attitude of students to the study of the academic discipline is given. Examples of creative tasks that are appropriate to use in the study of psychology of communication are given, namely: art exercise ‘Word of the lesson’, art practice ‘My place in the sun’ (author Victoria Nazarevich), art exercise ‘Imagine, draw’ and others.
