Abstract

The article reveals the possibilities of correction of stress disorder. The importance of studying its correction measures is emphasized. Objective: To develop an effective method of psychological influence on patients. Material: The study оf 100 patients at the sanatorium-preventive center «Ingul» with neuroses involved in the research. In the experimental group 85% of the patients make a recovery. In 15% of patients did not make a recovery due to the incorrect performance of the treatment method. The positive effect was more steading, than in the control group; all negative symptoms of the disease were promptly alleviated through the self-administered procedures at home. The patients, using the method, their psycho-emotional state within 1–3 sessions and then continued to improved sessions for preventive purposes 1–2 times a week for some time. In the control group the patients experienced a short-term improvement for up to 1 day.The patients, who were underwent the treatment course, reported the improvement in their mental and physical state, but some of them experienced a recurrence of symptoms because they continued to be in the same or another psychologically traumatic environment. The integrated method, based on the principles of dance therapy, EMDR by F. Shapiro, stimulation of the mirror neurons and autosuggestion, demonstrated high effectiveness in treating neuroses. The method is relatively simple to perform and can be used independently at home, by means of the mirror ensuring that the entire body is visible in the mirror reflection. To prevent a physical overload, slow dance figures in such ball room dances as rumba, tango, slow waltz and foxtrot are selected. The method is emotionally colored by dance music therefore the exacerbating symptoms of the des ease do not cause the patient significant distress.
